What was hidden becomes visible. Fate will still test you, with collapsing plans and unexpected catastrophes. The donkey totem represents gentleness, perseverance, and stability. It is endowed with great inner strength: whatever it decides, it accomplishes. The donkey acts independently, relying on its own hands, and tends to be self-reliant, reserved, and even introverted.

In China, it is believed that the New Year begins at the Hour of the Rat (23:19 in Vilnius Time Zone; 21:19 GTM) when the New Moon enters Aquarius. According to one Tibetan tradition, the year begins immediately with the New Moon—this year it occurs on February 17th at 14:01 Vilnius time. The year continues until February 5, 2027. According to the traditional Chinese calendar, this will be year 4724.

The Fire Horse year begins at a special moment with a solar eclipse, reaching its maximum phase at 14:13 Vilnius time, making it a memorable and fateful year, whose events will leave a long-lasting impact. The Horse is the seventh animal that reached Buddha to greet him for the New Year and offer a gift. Although it could have passed the Snake, it did not rush, guided by a sense of justice: how could it compete with a snake that has no legs? The Fire Horse encourages harmony and alliances. Key traits of the Horse are: diligence, the ability to work and earn, a desire for freedom, and loyalty to loved ones. At the same time, the Fire element will dominate in 2026, bringing drive, energy, ambition, cleverness, initiative, and courage! The Fire Horse, a lover of dynamics and spontaneity, will help adapt to rapid changes, learn new life demands more easily, and integrate naturally into transitions. The Fire Horse is impulsive and unpredictable, so it is recommended not to make long-term plans, but rather react quickly. If you act immediately on a plan, you will easily succeed. If you procrastinate, you will struggle to complete tasks, and little will be accomplished in the Fire Horse year. The Fire Horse is hardworking, so effort (“to work like a horse”) will be necessary. Green Tea: The antiseptic properties of green tea have been known since ancient times. Hibiscus: The magical aroma of hibiscus has traditionally been used in love magic, creating recipes to awaken passion. It is exciting that during this New Year, the Sun will move through the most favorable Royal degree of Capricorn! Those celebrating in New York or Boston will enjoy a special fortune, as both the Sun and Moon will occupy Royal degrees (the Moon in Gemini, supporting the Sun). This rare alignment of the two luminaries—representing the outer life, conscious personality, and inner emotional world—occurs only in seven of the 360 Zodiac degrees. The New Year begins on the 13th lunar day, whose symbol is the circle. This guides us to the most fortunate New Year rituals and objects, reminiscent of alchemical magic:

• It is ideal if your table is round.
• Dancing in a circle while holding hands is recommended.
• Adorn your hands with rings or bracelets, as gifts given on New Year’s carry special meaning and extraordinary power.
• A spindle in the festive room (another symbol of the 13th lunar day) is a good omen.

Burning, lively fire—from a bonfire, fireplace, or candle—will be the most important element of the New Year’s Eve celebration! Bright lighting also brings luck, symbolizing the Sun at midday, corresponding to the Fire element. Objects in the environment should ideally be triangular or pyramid-shaped. It is favorable to celebrate the New Year in a home with a pointed roof rather than a flat one.

According to Feng Shui traditions, the Fire element is strengthened by an abundance of animals. They do not need to be real—images of animals in art (sculptures, paintings, graphics, photography, or jewelry) are suitable. A depiction of a herd of horses is especially desirable. If you acquire a horse figurine, place it so the horse faces away from the door—you do not want luck to exit through the door.

When decorating the table and interior, use natural materials. Hay or dried flowers work well as decorations. Lucky colors: red, yellow, green; avoid white and blue.

To please the Vegetarian Fire Horse, include plenty of its favorite foods on the table: dishes with oats will likely be most favored. It is also good to serve more vegetables and fruits, while fish dishes will enhance financial abundance. In China, chicken symbolizes family unity and happiness.

Gifts should inspire movement, action, and success, reflecting the dynamic energy of the Fire Horse year.

The Zoroastrians welcomed the New Year at sunrise on March 21, dressed entirely in white (including covering the head), with a burning fire—lighting a candle and allowing it to burn gradually throughout the year. They drank hot red wine cooked with honey and fragrant spices and tasted sweet curd with raisins. On the eve, a pine branch broken by the wind was brought into the home. For this New Cycle, red is the most important color. Dedicate at least half an hour to a simple ritual, ideally at the start of the New Year or anytime in 2026, to invoke magical power for wishes and goals.

• Calm yourself and focus on your desires, objectives, and intentions.
• Write your wishes and goals clearly on a piece of paper—the more precise, the faster and more accurately they will manifest.
• Take a candle in your left hand, trace the symbols with the right-hand finger, and ask for help, stating all your wishes and desires. Focus on areas such as financial status, personal life, and other spheres you want to improve. The key is not the words themselves, but sincerity, deep faith, and trust in its power.
• Light the candle with a match (lighters are not used in magic, as they are considered unnatural sources of fire).
• Visualize yourself bathed in the radiance of your achieved results: see yourself using money wisely, making investments, and experiencing positive changes in your personal life. Repeat aloud in even-numbered counts: “So be it!”

After the ritual, place the candle in a family gathering spot, such as the dining table or living room, where you like to pause, reflect, or plan your activities.

The candle can be extinguished, but it is recommended to do so with fingers or a special cover. When relighting the candle, repeat the ritual, restating your wishes and intentions. Once the candle has fully burned, burn the remaining wax in an open flame, giving thanks for its work.

To produce this candle, we used only natural and organic soy wax, therefore the burning candle does not emit any toxic side chemical compounds. When creating the fragrance of a candle we use natural essential and fragrance oils, the aromas of which were combined in synergy with the aromatherapy purposes of the candle. Every candle is hand-made and unique, so their weight may vary. Don’t forget that the burning duration may even depend on the surrounding temperature. Once the candle is lighted, it is recommended to let it burn at least until all its wax melts around its surface in order to avoid tunnelling.
