Agarwood

Agarwood, also known as oud or agar, is a highly prized aromatic wood derived from the Aquilaria tree, primarily found in Southeast Asia. It’s renowned for its rich, complex fragrance and has been used for centuries in various cultural and spiritual practices.

Agarwood was used in incense and perfume since ancient times, mentioned in numerous ancient written sources – Sanskrit Vedas, the Old Testament, and Islamic scriptures. Aquilaria trees are also called god-trees. Agarwood was considered to be so powerful that it could cleanse the soul and banish evil spirits.
